Produced by Mike Posner, the track re-introduces the teen pin-up as slicker, hipper, and markedly more “Urban”.

I dont care what anybody says… I really like this song a lot. I have always liked Justin’s songs, but this song that he came out with RIGHT HERE, this is MY KIND of music!! The beat is everything. His voice sounds amazing. You really can’t deny it. So what if he sounds like Justin Timberlake? Is that really a bad thing? To me, thats actually a compliment because JT make good music. This song is definately going to be a hit, I can feel it. Beliebers are going crazy on my Twitter Timeline (LOL, I do follow Beliebers, I am one ;), and they are even doing a compaign of getting together and calling all the radio stations around the country to get this song to Billboard Hot 100. LOL. Beliebers go hard. Plus when I woke up early this morning at 6AM, “Boyfriend” was already #2 on iTunes. It just hit iTunes in Midnight and the song is already #2…. Plus the video didnt even came out yet, and I heard Justin will be dancing in it. LOL. I am definately looking forward to see that. I am also looking forward to the Believe album. Since I really love this song, I have a feeling I will be liking most of the songs on Believe.

This song is HORRIBLE! He sounds like a cheaper version of Mike Posner. I’m not surprised he produced this hot mess! I think JB has some talent, it is not reflected at all on this song. It’s honestly not that bad, at least not as bad as I was expecting. It does show growth & he does sound more mature. You can tell he’s coming into his own & trying to experiment with his sound. The lyrics aren’t remarkable but the production is nice and his vocals sound a lot better than before.
And for people saying he sounds like Breezy?! Um….no! If anything he sounds like Justin Timberlake! It kinda reminds me of the Ying Yang Twins ‘Whisper Song’ meets Justin Timberlake. That’s a weird combination but thats what he sounds like to me. I honestly always thought he was marketed as the ‘new’Justin Timberlake, a white boy with a bootleg black boy swag. Not that JB can hold a candle to JT.
It’s nothing I would listen to again but I won’t be surprised if it becomes a hit. I mean he is freaking Justin Beiber.
