Indeed, before Nicki Minaj became Brand Minaj there was Eve- Eve the Rapper, Eve the actress and Eve the designer, kicking dust in the face of Hip Hop’s ugly sisters Lil Kim and Foxy Brown.
However, much like the above, the Rapper fell prey to time and irrelevancy, forced to play the benches while the aforementioned Minaj rocked centre court.
Now, after six years, she’s readying her long awaited return to music.

Eve was a monster in the peak of her career. I hope she comes with real hip hop or if she infuses pop give us a combination. Its all about balance, balance is the key everybody is calling Nicki out but what Nicki is doing now both Kim and Eve did at a time or two.

I think the one that writes these blog its very biased ,lets say kim or foxy doesn´t have real talent ( Im not a fan of either of them) but I think neither nicki shes just a one act circus clown ,her 5 minutes are almost over,shes one of the most generic pop artists (like so many others) ,the guy of this post always bashing rihanna for not having talent(I agree I don´t like her either) but nicki its no different from her ,just like her song a silly ho ,anyways a big shout to eve shes onbe of the few rappers with real talent

Eve the designer?! I heard of a clothing line she had but I never heard of anyone wearing it. What about Missy? Missy was the spokesperson for Adidas then and Nicki is now. And rather you agree or disagree, Nicki is becoming larger then any of these other female rappers ever planned on being. I love them all though but we have to be real. I don’t hear too many people checking for Eve nowadays. I hear more requests for Missy, Kim, and Trina, before Eve! LMAO I hope her music is good though cuz I liked Eve but she’s left her fans waiting too long for music and now all of sudden pops up when the other chicks putting out stuff. I always liked Eve. I remember in 2002 it seemed like she was on top of the world. And it only seemed to get better when she got her own television show and played an awesome role in “Barber Shop.” in 2007 when “Tambourine” came out (not 2006 like this post stated), I thought that beat was going to be huge! And then it didn’t take off like i thought it would. And then her album got shelved. It’s crazy how it seemed to come to such an abrupt end. I hope she makes a huge comeback!
