Peep this stunning poster for the star-studded ‘Sparkle’ – starring Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks, Cee Lo Green, Derek Luke, and more. The reboot of the 1976 film, due in theatres this summer (August 17th), is already celebrating mounting anticipation from its trailer alone. Also boasting Houston’s last film role, its safe to say theaters will be packed to see the songstress soar – as she did so often during her career- over the film’s numbers.

Remakes are tough. I hope the movie is good. I am looking forward to seeing it. The original movie was great.
CANT WAIT TO SEE IT
While this seems like it’s going to be an o.k. movie, nothing in my opinion will be able to replace the original. The original is a “classic.”
The trailer is giving me Dreamgirls & The 5 HeartBeats so i’m happy. Carmen Ejogo looks s*** as hell!!!!! If this movie doesn’t put her on the map (as well as magazine covers) I don’t know what will! She needs to keep this look.
