The uplifting cut (A TGJ favourite) features on the Grammy winner’s critically acclaimed LP ‘Pieces of Me‘, which was released last year.

Love this song! “Pieces of Me” has been my go to groove since last year. I love an artist that makes timeless music and takes their time releasing music. That’s what these “mainstream” artists need to do. Take some time to perfect their craft, produce worthwhile music, and put more effort into their albums.
I know one thing……when they replay the 2011 B.E.T Awards, im only here for Beyoncé End of Time performance and Miss Ledisa SLAY-F***-ING those chilling vocals on her Teena Marie tribute…I know they kicking themselves in the ass for not putting her on that Patti Labelle tribute tho
