After serving up the ball of fierceness that was the ‘Bombs’ video, Dawn Richard looks poised to have tongues a-wagging once again with the clip for her latest single ‘Automatic’. Case, point, these newly released stills from the song’s accompanying video.
The cut is the latest to be lifted from the former Danity Kane member’s ‘Armor On’ EP – which was released in March to critical acclaim.

Yes, I was going to mention LL! There are quite a few others who have covered their body in paint…. David Bowie is one. The others escape me at the moment but it has been done many times before AND I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH IT! Back in the day they only had white, gold, yelloe, black & blue body paint. Now you can get just about every color in the rainbow. I LOVE BODY ART & THINK IT’S TOO COOL!
Reminds me of Missy Elliot video. She covered herself and her dances in black paint. Nothing is ever really original.

Video is going to be hot. Dawn always brings it. Let’s not bring up Rhianna Dawn can really dance and Rhianna cannot. They are 2 different artist. Dawn is for people who like talent and Rhianna is a for people who like pop sensations. I am pretty sure there is room to like both artist.

Dawn is doing the damn thing and it is sad that everyone is so closed minded and can’t understand her direction, talent and artistry but I guess the beauty of the story will be that when she blows (which won’t be long at the rate she is going and doing it independently) those who are in the dark will soon be brought to the light. I love her talent it is so raw and passionate but still has flares of a vet in the game (considering she has been doing this for about 6 years thats not unexpected) She is creating a new wave, a new approach to sound, which is soon to be followed and appreciated. This is pure talent at its finest. I can go on and on for days but in all I respect this woman for the hell the system of industry put you through and the way you transformed it into motivation and drive and I love the results just as much as I feel in love with your talent when I first seen you on MTB
