Having amassed a string of top-ten’s with her former group NDubz, ‘Young’ also earns the honor of serving as the 23 year old’s first career chart-topper – both solo and as part of the London-bred collective.

Despite the shocking levels of “generic” the song is coated in, what isn’t a surprise is that it’s been a success. Much like the Cheryl Coles and other talent-strapped acts before her, Tulisa has morphed into a “tabloid celebrity” – a hat she wears readily and willfully.
And why not? After all, these days it’s easier for the “basic” to generate and capitalise on scandal as a means of promotion, instead of actually earning success. The end result, as seen here, are number ones. Congratulations?

I have to say singles charts are crap nowadays, we all know it. But the UK one… seriously. Way worse than the Billboard hot100, way way worse. Thank God for the albums charts where the intesting thing is at (not that great nowadays either but you know)

She is the same talentless model and flop you despised so much. Don´t be so biased. And yes she is also a flop. She has more flopped singles than all the other big acts of the last 2 decades put together (she pushes 6-7 singles per year but only 1 or 2 become a hit, a sad label doll)
