Take Lil Kim for example. After playing big sister to Baltimore bred Keys for launching an unprovoked attack on Nicki Minaj back in 2009, the MC had her friendship thrown back in her face when the starlet claimed Kim had not paid her for ‘ghostwriting’ the now infamous ‘Black Friday’.
Then this year, upon discovering Rap newbie Azealia Banks was also anti-Minaj , Kim welcomed a duet between she and the ‘212’ gem, only to find herself in hot water when Banks revealed the ‘How Many Licks’ star was incapable of writing her own music.
Now, hours after deleting her Twitter account, Banks has weighed in on Kim once more- defending Minaj against the Rap witch.

Speaking to Women Of Hip Hop, Azealia revealed:

I had nothing but honest and positive intentions when I approached her. Her and her team were nothing but confusing and shady. THEY released a press release about “beef”..Not Me..It’s just weird cuz she tried to pin me up against the wall when all I did was reach out and try to work.

I wasn’t even supposed to come out with Nicki Minaj (at Summerjam 2012). It was a rumor.

Azealia revealed that the track she intended to put Lil’ Kim on was “Van Vogue” which was apart of the T by Alexander Wang Campaign. Azealia admitted that Alexander Wang was considering putting Lil’ Kim on the billboard with her because she explained how Ill the collab could be.

I feel the exact same way. I was reading this article and saying to myself, “There’s some truth in what this chick is saying”. I’m glad Kim launched The Return of the Queen Tour. It’s a step in the right direction. She still has a long way to go. Truth be known, she needs to fire most of her team and get some people who will tell her the truth. I’m a die hard Lil’ Kim fan and will continue to buy her albums, but I’m not going to pretend like she is still the Kim of the 90’s. She’s still a Legend and a Queen based off her body of work, but I want her to really go in and show these ho’s why her reign has lasted so long.

It does seem like Kim can’t give props to females in the game who are successful.
