That Grape Juice Interviews Misha B

Published: Tuesday 26th Jun 2012 by Sam

Since erupting onto the scene during last year’s X Factor, multi-talented Mancunian Misha B has remained a fixture on the lips of many. A trend which looks set to continue as the 20 year old gears up to release her debut single ‘Home Run’ on July 15th.

We caught up with the budding star last week, chatting it up with her about her hotly anticipated album, working with Missy Elliott, “that” incident on the X Factor, Kelly Rowland‘s departure from the show, and a whole lot more.

As ever, we ask the questions you really want answers to…and answer them Misha does.

Your thoughts?

I’m not checking for her after that! I wanna hear about Ruth Brown

    • She is a JOKE! HAHAHAHAHA June 25, 2012

And she says she questions her faith you can tell she is messed up and into S**T.

  3. kelly June 25, 2012

She is talented. But I know she will not make it in England. The UK is done with black women, mixed race is as far as they will go.

She is already hated in the UK, for being a ‘ bully ‘ She is not as pretty as the white and mixed race girls who sell: Jessie J Cheryl Cole, Cher Lloyd, Rita Ora, Pixie Lott, Emeli Sande, Leona , Rebcecca Ferguson.

She is already hated, ‘ fat ‘ very very very very dark skin. That wont sell in the UK

  4. She is a JOKE! HAHAHAHAHA June 25, 2012

Where to start this B***H is so fake what is that fake a*** American accent she puts on and she says she like all types of music and when asked who her influences are she says a load of names and only ONE of them was a white artist but she claims she like rock and alternative how fake. She just wants a pity party with her recycled lyrics haha.
She is a RACIEST BULLY she is just a black version of Cher Lloyd.

    • JR June 25, 2012

Trollin ass. Misha got more talent in her pinky finger than cher lloyd. You really need to get your head out your ass.

      • She is a JOKE! HAHAHAHAHA June 25, 2012

I take it your a fat woman oh well NEXT!

      • She is a JOKE! HAHAHAHAHA June 25, 2012

She shouts when she sings and people lap it up you poor little sheep.

    • kelly June 25, 2012

What you have said is exactly why she will not make. You called her a racist bully – that is what the British public think.

The UK think she – and any confident black woman FROM the UK, is an evil racist bully with an attitude problem and chip on their shoulder.

      • She is a JOKE! HAHAHAHAHA June 25, 2012

You don’t know me I like Beverley knight, Gabrielle, Kelly le roc, Jamella & Sade all confident strong black women the only difference are they aren’t rude B***hes like Misha Bully and they can all sing..!

Wth is up with all this negativity…I’m from the U.S., and I think her new single is dope! Love the vibe.

    • kelly June 25, 2012

This is the UK. They hate confident black women. They shut them down at any cost. Kelly Rowland, Keisha from sugababes Alexandra Bukre, Misha B etc. Even Naomi Campbell is hated in England.

They only want white, mixed race and African american women in the UK charts

      • Truth tela June 25, 2012

I agree with you. UK is full of racism! If l was Misha l would try America.

  8. Nat June 25, 2012

Lots of negativity in the above posts but the person who is claiming the UK hates her are so wrong, hello she hasn’t even release a single yet and I’m from the UK, so if your comment is based on her finishing 4 on the X factor and the bullying rumours, then you are exaggerating. Yes there are a lot of racist people in the UK, just like all the other countries but what has that go to do with Misha and her music? whether she does well in the Uk or not, stop being so negative and doubting that se have any success just because she’s dark skin black, that is ignorant.

    • kelly June 25, 2012

So I am from the UK. Misha is hated, She was hailed a bully on national TV – that killed her chances – even though she was the most talented person She was in the bottom 2 every week till they finally kicked her off. The stuff that was written online was 100% racist and unfounded.

There was even an article written: It misha B too black to win xfactor.

Her single is coming out next month, and people have being saying they will not buy because she is a bully.

She has no promo for single, unlike Rita Ora, Tulisa and Cheryl Cole. All do with race versus talent.

There was an article in the Independent about the lack of black ( not american or mixed race ) women in the charts .

Let see if this song goes to number 1

I like her ever since Xfactor .. Good luck Misha
