Wow, I’m actually surprised by the quantity of good music that’s on this album, very pleased with what I’ve heard. “Don’t Judge Me” sounds just like Drake’s “Marvin’s Room” though. The album is full of a mid tempo, electro-pop ballads that actually works this time around. I hope those how are judging the album off those previously released singles (I did) take a listen to these snippets before making a final decision to pass on this one.
Ok NO SHADE AT ALL… I listened to the whole thing and there was only 1 bloody song that i actually enjoyed smh thats sad…
I’m shocked at how good this album sounds! He clearly picked the wrong singles! Mirage, bassline & stuck on stupid are on repeat!

well , initially , it sound like F.A.M.E. Pt. 2 , which honestly is a good thing , but i don’t sense a Musical growth or whatsoever , but i will pass , now let’s get to the fun part :
my fav tracks ” please notice i like dance tracks mostly , so it doesn’t mean that i will hate non-dance track songs , i’m just not so fond of sad songs especially by Him , i’m a happy person and i have no tragedy or whatsoever in my life , so .. :
1. Don’t wake me Up ” it’s f*****’ benny penassi” , what else can u ask for , my “beautiful people” part 2 sound-wise.
2. Turn Up the Music / Turn Up the music “feat. Rihanna”
3. Trumpet Lights ” i need this track in my life NOW” , straight FIYAH. i want it NOW.

i will hold my full review when i hear it all in Full , but i will get me the standard version of “FORTUNE” , the bonus tracks ain’t promising enough “except for ‘touch me” which take me back to “graffiti” .
COOL STUFFS. but he just have lots of sad songs in here , so some tracks will get skipped 😀

i still didn’t download the leaked version despite being so tempted to do so …. but i really want to support him this time around , we all trashed him those past years , enough is enough , he is a human being after all and it is time to forgive him and move on with out lives and enjoy what he’s offering ” and what rihanna will offer too” …. , we are music fans , keep it all about the music and don’t get personal about people who don’t know you exist. keep it ABOUT THE MUSIC.

Electro pop trash. What happened to real music
For starters I can tell from the album snippets that he needs new song writers
“Bassline” and “free run”easily stuck out as poorly written songs with weak concepts. Their is really no growth almost every rnb song on the album talks about s** , which there nothing really wrong with that , its just if your gonna go that route you have bring something to the table that is different and not done before ” maving love like it’s the end of the world”-2012 …is not witty, anybody could come up with that simple creativity. Even the pop club tracks have the same chasing -a-girl-wit -a fat-ass motif . The album sounds like FAME part 2 and this is just the snippets 🙁

Loved the first half and i was certain i was gonna buy by then but then the midtempos/ballads all started to sound tooooooo much alike…maybe cuz same producers were used…i like first half 2-11…i wanna support chris but if my coins don’t align im not gonna sacrifice the way I used to for my boy!!! But big ups for bringing some hot material!!!

I guess he kept the “FAME” formula, there’s a song for everyone on this album. I don’t think ‘Fortune’ will be a standout like ‘Fame’ but still, the album sounds nice.
My favourite tracks: “Mirage” ( I love the chorus ), “2012” and “Tell Somebody”.
“Bassline” for some reason makes me think of “Superbass” while “Don’t judge me” sounds way too much like a Dake’s song.
Overall, nice album.

The truth is that CB was never really r&b. That R&B label just came from Billboard charts and award shows that like to perceive black acts as R&B. CB is an urban pop act with some r&b influnes. But these snippets were based on urban pop/electro pop
Snippets really do nothing for me.
There were a couple of songs that I like the beat. Ballads/mid tempo’s need to be replaced with up tempo song seeing how he isn’t vocally well suited for them. Nothing new…fame part 2
Catchier song titles….minus the freshness…meh…guy has never made a great album. I’ll pass this time ..
Well I think this album will be pretty good when it’s released. I’ve listened to the snippets and I can honestly say that I’m impressed by a lot of the tracks. It’s no doubt r&b, but just contains some influences of urban and electro. The main thing here is that breezy shows off more of his vocal ability. Personally, i like 4 years old and wait for me. People can have their opinions on this and I can totally respect that, but at the end of the day, chris brown does make good music as far as I’m concerned.

I am “uber” excited. Did you see the commercial he produced to advertise Fortune? They can say whatever and do all they can to hold him down but the boy is pure talent no matter what those who imagine they dislike Chris have to say! 🙂
i knew it was gonna be good music from the jump. i kno im always baggin on chris but thats because i dnt approve on s*** he does in his “personal life ” business is buisness so his music is always a…..B+ with Me, i just cant stand his rapping….
