For, in what will come as a surprise to many, she has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband of two years.
Her statement and hot new number below…
Speaking to Essence Magazine, she revealed:
I’ve been married for two years. He is the love of my life and I love him very much. His name is Lorenzo. He’s a really a cool guy and we’re expecting something else as well – our first child together. I am six months pregnant.
No one has seen me and I’ve been waiting the proper time to say something about it. I’m so happy and I’m so excited and I’m having a girl. It’s so big and wonderful to me.
It’s an amazing experience and I wish guys could go through this. It’s life changing.
Her announcement arrives minutes before she released her new single ‘If You Love Me‘ to iTunes and a year after parting ways with Mathew Knowles‘ Music World Management, dissolved following the departure of Knowles’ daughter Beyonce.

I can’t recall her last single, but I recall not liking it much. I loved her remake of Let Me Be Your Angel many years ago.
This song has potential, and I hope her label gets behind it at urban radio. I can also see this working in Britain and Europe.
