Aww baby, ooh baby; Ashanti has confirmed she’s about to have her first baby!
The GRAMMY-winning songstress took to Instagram on Wednesday (April 17) to announce the big news via an ad for Proov.

Along with founder Dr. Amy Beckley, Nelly and Ashanti are co-founders of Proov – a diagnostics company that offers at-home, medical grade tests for people trying to conceive children.
The ‘Baby‘ singer has been mum about the rumors of her own pregnancy, but finally lifted the lid on the news Tuesday.

As if that’s not enough to celebrate, the couple confirmed to ‘Essence‘ that they’re gearing up to tie the knot.
“This new year of my life is such a blessing full of love, hope, and anticipation,” Ashanti told the mag. “Motherhood is something that I have looked forward to, and sharing this with my family, fiancé, and loyal fans, who have been so supportive of my career, is an amazing experience.”
This will be Ashanti’s first child and Nelly’s fifth.
