Watch: Melanie Fiona’s Soaring ‘Huffington Post’ Set

(source)

‘The Bridge’ beauty Melanie Fiona is still hard at work crossing many-an-outlet in support of her sophomore album ‘The M.F. Life’ (in stores now).  In conjunction with landing two Grammy wins this year and her first top 10 album, the singer forges on to continue collecting career ‘firsts’ as her singles and performances collect critical acclaim.

Most recently checking in with our friends over at The Huffington Post, Miss Fiona imparted performances of some of her fan favorites while also dishing on her admiration for Lauryn Hill, Sade, Bob Marley, and her idol Whitney Houston.

Needless to say, Fiona rocked the house.  Get into the set below:

I really like Melanie. I just wish they promoted her a little better. I like her album, so one more single wouldn’t hurt. Maybe she should return to the more old school and soulful sound for her next album 😎

I love Melanie Fiona! She’s got the stage presence and critical accliam that will keep her around for awhile. “The MF Life” is one of the best R&B albums of the year IMO.

It saddens me that she doesn’t get the promotion and public attention she deserves. ‘The MF Life’ is the best album I’ve heard this year so far, I haven’t stopped listening to it since I bought it. She needs a new team who will promote her non-stop because there are tons of singles that can be released from that album.
