Nelly Grilled At ‘Breakfast’ / Talks Sales Slump, Flo’Rida, Ashanti & More

Published: Friday 27th Jul 2012 by Sam

Hip-Pop star Nelly is back. And with this month ushering in the debut his new single ‘Mary Go Round’, the St. Louis native has hit the promotional trail.

His first stop? Arguably, the toughest. The ‘Country Grammar’ rapper dropped by Power 105.1‘s Breakfast Club this morning, where Charlemagne and co didn’t hold back.

Does the MC keep his cool? The answer awaits after the jump…

Poised, tactile, and intellectually “switched” on, he certainly “sold” himself well, while tackling the crew’s valid and truth-filled questions. Solid interview.

That said, are you checking for Nelly’s new album ‘M.O.’?

Your thoughts?

Well, you are Brazilian, so you’re opinion on Hip-hop/rap music is invalid. Lol

Well there it is, if Brazillian like rappers as in Nelly vs hip hop as in Nas both fine might I add..then Nelly would be eating very well for very long time…because american dont buy cd and Brazillian paper is alot longer than americans

I don’t know why anyone continues to support Charlemagne. And then we wonder why the black community struggles to advance. smh
