Justin Bieber can sleep a little easier tonight.
Yes, as we’re sure will come as disappointing news for many a Pop fiend, tonight saw Justin Timberlake‘s rep deny he is currently crafting a come back album.
This, in response to an interview given by producer Jim Beanz to Digital Spy which saw him claim he had been invited to work on the LP with ‘Say It Right‘ maestro Timbaland.
Timberlake’s publicist tells Billboard that while it’s true the superstar is collaborating with Timbaland, there are no plans for a third solo album. Further, Timberlake is currently shooting a movie, “Runner, Runner,” in Puerto Rico.
Sure to leave Beanz seething (and a little embarrassed), it seems as though there was misunderstanding between all camps involved- that is, if we’re to buy what JT’s team are selling.
For, unless they’d have us believe he whipped the entire story up, we’re not sure why Beanz would go into such detail about the said project if it didn’t exist.
If Justin is working on a new album, Jim may have- and forgive us for this- spilled the beans prematurely, giving him no choice but to refute the producer’s claims.
This, embarrassing for Brand Jim and damning for Team Justin, who had hoped they would welcome a third LP from the star in the coming months.
