The latest season of the X-Factor UK kicked off in spectacular form tonight. Unsurprisingly, with this being the audition phase, the talented and talent-challenged came out in equal measure for a crack at progressing to the next stage. Judging the hopefuls are new additions Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, original panelist Louis Walsh, and newcomer Nicole Scherzinger.

Total rubbish, the format is tired and boring, it’s the same tosh every single year with flop male winners. If this is what America is expecting in season 2 of the X Factor USA, I would encourage everyone to watch THE VOICE, it’s fresh, young, funny and current. Plus THE VOICE has a Grammy Award winning panel, just saying.

i loved mel b realness. she was being honest. thats what shows like this needs. i say get rid of nicole and put in mel b. it would be a more interesting show.
