  5. Biting Truth September 18, 2012

Ugh. Why Tom Joyner? My parents listen to him. What audience is she targeting? Brandy should have previewed her album on Ryan Seacrests show or at Hot 97. Her team isn’t being as aggressive as they need to be.

    • T September 18, 2012

You think it’s that easy? Hmph. Then you call and be aggressive for her and when you book it, she’ll gladly write you a check.

      • Stephen September 18, 2012

Well I sooooooooooo f****** tired of Rihanna voice and her name for that matter. Nice to see different female artists finally coming out.

    • Luis September 18, 2012

It’s called ‘strategy’. Notice she previewed 2 of the slow jams from the album versus the club bangers or more edgy songs. And then she sung 2 of her old school jams on the show. She’s targeting everyone and that audience specifically are music buyers.

      • O_O September 18, 2012

Two baby making songs?? so that’s what the old folks are listening to now. Wildest Dream was the song she needed to play here. Not “Paint the walls” or what ever.

  6. Monstarebel September 18, 2012

    She should push the album!

    • Monstarebel September 18, 2012

She should push the album back*!

      • O_O September 18, 2012

Yeahppp! and go work with less predictable writers who write quality lyrics and make great beats.

We will see though. They chose this date for a reason though. Don’t think they’ll be changing it.

  7. Speaks Truth September 18, 2012

  8. I almost crashed my car into Rihanna’s forehead September 18, 2012

Between the returns of Brandy, Missy, Alicia, Miguel, Keyshia Cole…I’m finally starting to feel a spark of hope for music. Hopefully it means this dance/pop s*** is finally starting to die.

Dannnnng, Bran we grown!!!! I like it, I like it , I like it a lot! The great thing about this is that I know we’re only getting a slice of what 2/11 is all about. Brandy comes with it in layers and I can’t wait to get a hold of this album! I love where she’s at musically and on a personal level. I’m just feeling the confident, mature, s***, wise and creative artist she’s evolved into.

WHY COULDNT SHE RELEASE THOSE TWO SONGS !!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN HITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE WOULD HAVE SHUT HER HATERS DOWN WITH THOSE SONGS!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!! I love Brandy and a huge fan but she picks out the wrong singles.Every since Full Moon! Its true though. She have a lot of hits on the album then pick the ones thats should not be released as ones. smh!!! But that album going be awesome! I’m excited! She just needs to choose her singles more carefully.

    • 4EVER September 18, 2012

They are going to be the next two singles!!!!! calm down have patience …

  17. Ayo September 18, 2012

K, so I love Brandy and trust I’m gonna buy the album and hopefully the delux but these previews didn’t get me as hyped as I would have liked to be. I love Brandy cause when it comes to R&B her sound is always innovative to me, and I know she wants to take it back to the 90’s but none of the songs I’ve heard from her have had that umph yet, expect put it down, which got released years after it first premiered. Wishing her a win either way

  18. B_STANNING (BEY ALWAYS WINS) September 18, 2012

B Rocka not playing this time.

  24. JOHNVIDAL September 18, 2012

You can´t deny it sounds good
If it´s going to be a success or not (for Brandy standard and current state of R&B on charts) we don´t know. But it seems is going to be a good album. I´m tired of albums flopping. Why can´t for example Brandy do 200,000 copies first week? It would be great. I´m tired of only 5 artists per year doing great (well decent) numbers. people who like it… go buy it. Then don´t talk about only a few pop artists doing good numbers. it´s true radio doesn´t have the diversity it had in the 90´s and they only play the same pop/dance songs, but it is still in your hands. At least the album charts. Singles is more complicated cos you need radio airplay

    • POP ROYALTY ( RUDE BOY) September 18, 2012

Good Music Is not Commercial nowadays , that’s Because they are Too consious/adult for most ppl who buy music Now , ppl who buy music the most ” from iTunes for Example” are mostly kids with ages ranges from 12 Y.o to 17 Y.o who use their moms Credit Card to buy their music from iTunes and other Media providers , that’s explains why ppl Like Justin bieber still have the ability to sell music !!
i don’t say that adult ppl don’t buy music anymore , but big proportion of the buying force consist of … KIDS.
(Just Look at Katy Perry , Nicki Minaj and Co @John and u will get my point)

and i don’t wanna play with the race card , but Black Artists Usually find/face problems when they Promote themselves in certain markets ” see : alxandra burke ” , and since the only good” not spoiled YET” Genre now is R&B which is mostly and even exclusive for black artists , so that’s why good music is getting life baby steps !!! ” rock is getting poppish , Soul Is dead , Rap is getting silly and poppish , dance music started to get boring and ugh-inspiring , pop songs are getting tacky and wack , etc ..”
      Even @poproyalty got bored 😡

  25. T September 18, 2012

LOVE IT! Can’t wait for the album! Brandy’s voice turns a track into EVERYTHING PROGRESSIVE! If you get into the quality of these two snippets, you can’t help but sigh and say “finally…good music”. And for that reason i’ll be buying TwoEleven on Oct16…I know the rest of the album is going to give SO MUCH MORE!

  26. ASIPOFBRANDY September 18, 2012

YAAASSS Rocka you betta sang that s*** accapella and show ’em that you don’t need know beat!

  27. POP ROYALTY ( RUDE BOY) September 18, 2012

    This Is Q U A L I T Y to be Honest. I love What i heard !! Go Brandy 😀

Part of me Love This Woman.

    Real Music Is making a Comeback I guess , Missy , Mariah , Brandy , etc …

    Validated and Approved.

    • JOHNVIDAL September 18, 2012

You finally admiting Rihanna is pure s***? 🙂

      • POP ROYALTY ( RUDE BOY) September 18, 2012

Well , I won’t ” Put It down” right Like U want it 😛 , But i guess I’m getting my Life from the 90’s Music At the moment , That’s Why I appreciate the Type of music like the one above , all That NOW ! for a Change !!! U know ppl like celine , MC , Whitney , Donna , etc … have their type of Quality Songs, And the thing about dance music is that U get tired of it after a While , Especially if u are a junkie like me 😉

I’m feeling a kind of a ” Dance music Sucks” movement coming soon like what happened in 70’s with Disco Music ….. ppl listen to Adele , gotye , Fun. Now , dance music is kinda fading and “played out” !! so ..

  28. MC September 18, 2012

Is the world coming to an end? Xtina is coming back on fire, Missy coming back scorching, Brandy set the place on fire, etc, etc, etc. So many awesome and TALENTED artists are making a come-back! Hoot! Hoot!

  29. Insatagram Classickiddjones64 September 18, 2012

sounds like this is going to be a epic comeback for an a different and sassy mature sound

  30. dee September 18, 2012

While I like the new songs to a certain extent; they are not hit worthy. I have a feeling this cd is going to be a Human 2!

  31. My hip, my back September 19, 2012

I like “too late”. It’s nice how she can show a more sultry angelic side to her voice and switch it up and give us that smokey and raspy tone she’s renowned for. I am anticipating Two Eleven!

  32. Jordon September 19, 2012

“No Such Thing As Too Late” has a nice, chill atmosphere to it – maybe not the strongest demonstration of this “progressive, edgy r’n’b” she’s been saying however, this was only the tiniest snippet and it still sounds great. There’s a reason Brandy would want this to be the third single so I am keeping faith until the full song is released.
As for ‘Paint This House’, beautiful and s***! You can hear her voice being the instrument alongside the echoing beats. Now this song is going to be edgy and is the final song on the standard edition so I’m sure we can expect huge things from it.
Hopefully Brandy will release a preview of the song ‘So Sick’ before the album. I think that will really set the fire of excitement ablaze from what I’ve been hearing about the song.
I am supporting this album because this is going to be my album of the year. I’ve never experienced so much excitement and anticipation. I urge you all support ‘Two Eleven’ and Brandy as she has clearly worked so hard on this album. And if she has made an album that you feel is special and have connected to and loved then it hasn’t ‘flopped’. There is more to music than commercial performance 🙂 October 16th – circle the date on the calendar.

  33. Brandyfan95 September 19, 2012

… fan since day one and I’m NOT into any of the new songs from this “era” so far. Overall she has good “BEATS” but the rest just sounds like it was last on the list to work on.
Recent Brandy songs that were very good. “Sweet Nothings” and “I don’t Care”
Sorry.. I wanted to be on board on this one just like everyone else..but I know propaganda when I hear it. Looks like our “sitting up in my room” days are really gone forever.

    • dee September 19, 2012

      Totally agree!

  34. B Lamont September 19, 2012

That Paint This House is EVERYTHING!!! Finally Brandy on her real GROWN & S***!!!

  35. Only True September 20, 2012

Love these snippets! I cannot wait to hear some of the more uptempo jams. Hands down I already know Brandy will have the best R&B album of the year. I really hope it’s not as criminally underrated as Afrodisiac. I LOVE THAT ALBUM! I think TwoEleven will be a great addition to Brandy’s already impeccable catalogue. Say what you will, Brandy has NEVER put out a b******* album. I always sideye the choices for singles though… “Fall” would have pushed Human to platinum status, I guarantee it. Oh well COME ON OCTOBER 16th!
