That Grape Juice can confirm that Christina Aguilera has been announced as the first performer at the 40th annual American Music Awards.
The high-profile slot is one of many lined up for the superstar songbird’s eagerly awaited ‘Lotus’ LP – which arrives on November 13th. It is widely believed that Aguilera will perform comeback single ‘Your Body’ at the November 18th extravaganza, which airs (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.

Rca really needs to get it together. Her album comes out next month and all she’s done to promote the song is give the same interview over and over.
She needs to start performing it. I know RCA didn’t want the songs success to burn out too quickly because it would’ve bit for real, come he f*** on. It’s been out almost a month now.
But for a song that hasn’t received any promotion besides a video and interviews, its doing just fine on itunes and the Hot 100
she will perform but the show is still airring prerecorded material.. the live shows haven’t begun yet….
They dont air till next month which is why I’m pissed because they had her sign a contract that doesn’t allow her to perform it anywhere else until after she performs on the voice. I understand the voice is a great platform to promote the song but damn! Alicia song doesn’t even have a video out yet, she performed it on the VMAs and its doing better than Christinas.

Like it or not, Christina Aguilera is known for her s*** image, and people expect that of her.
The same way they made fun on Britney and were like “WTF is she on” when she appeared on the MTV VMAs wearing a leotard while looking chubby and out of it.
Christina really is trying too hard with this delusional “I’ve got a booty and big boobs” chapter of her career, when she doesn’t really get that she was ALREADY s*** without TRYING, when she did stuff like Back to Basics or Burlesque and was thinner and looking healthier, and also moving much better as a dancer
I think if Christina really wanted to lose weight, she would. She’s very comfortable with her body the way it is.
