Her album got pushed back? That’s not a good sign. I’ll be very surprised if OWA actually does get released “early next year”. Unless she can get a top 10 or even a top 20 on the Hot 100, I’m thinking the release date will likely remain in limbo until probably late 2013. We’ll see.
There is no way it will be pushed back to late 2013. She wont let that happen because by that time all the hype will have already died down tremendously. I believe she’ll release it much earlier. She’s probably still trying to find the right sound.

I really enjoy Ciara. Not a huge fan but I’ve always been supportive of her work.
I fell in love with “Living It Up” & I really hoped that she going to release it as a true single as well as shoot a video for it. Not because it’s more pop oriented ( because some people seem to think that pop is our savior) but only b/c it’s a great song!!!!

I think she looks pretty and I’ll probably enjoy the video but… I just don’t see it for her anymore. Maybe she can enjoy Gold certification. But the spark is gone. I don’t think people will check for her like they have in the times past I really don’t. All the stops they seem to be pulling seems like over kill to me. I think all that promo they plan on pulling will make it worse for her. The problem with Ciara really just seemed to be her music, it just doesn’t resonate. All the promo in the world wont get people interested in her music if ppl arent really feeling it. Sorry is a good quality song IMO and many others agree but this is not. Nicki Minaj is not pulling big album numbers but her singles have been successful. She WILL NOT do better then Minaj on the charts. So I see it pretty much a wrap for her on the mainstream front.
