Much like former pop rival Christina Aguilera, ‘Poker Face’ performer Lady Gaga has been dealt a series of criticisms from media and music fans alike for her recent weight gain.
Indeed, despite continued success on her wildly popular ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour, the ‘ArtPop’ creator has seen a growing number of headlines mentioning her own figure far more than her box office figures.
To combat the slamming headlines, Gaga took to UK’s ‘Stylist’ magazine to share how fan support and the attitude of chart topping diva Adele has helped her deal with the criticisms. Read her interesting comments below:

“Adele is bigger than me, how come nobody says anything about it? She’s so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match,” the 26-year-old performer told the UK’s Stylist. “She has set the bar very high for a lot of women.
“I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people,” she added.
“I was acutely aware of some photos on the Internet – my mom called me and was like, ‘Did you gain weight?’ – everybody was telling me about it, and I didn’t really care.”
“But when I heard it was on the news, where they talk about wars, the economy crashing and the election – I just thought, ‘This is f***ing ridiculous,’” she said. “I mean, what kind of example is that to a young girl sitting at home?”
“I thought, well I don’t really care if they think I’m fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds. “

A friend of Rihanna’s has spoken out about the star’s relationship with Chris Brown, revealing that she’s interested in nothing but her on-off lover and neglects her own well-being when she is caught up in the drama he creates.

The photo of her in the “meat” leotard is photoshopped, that was confirmed the same day, look at it carefully and you can tell its not real, the proportions are wrong. I watched footage (a lot of it) from that gig where the photo was supposedly taken, she looked nowhere near as big as that, this is confirmed by people who attended said gig. She put some candids up on her social network a couple of days later and started the Body Revolution, its clear in the candids that the photos shown in this article have been doctored but she did admit to having gained some weight. Given her history of problems with bulimia, putting those photoshopped shots out there was a really nasty thing to do and I’m sick of people picking at the weight of women, setting a really fantastic example to all those young girls teetering on the edge of bulimia or anorexia due to poor body image because of all the messages they keep getting from the media (anorexically thin is good, being a normal size is bad). I don’t make remarks about Christina’s or Adele’s weight (although I think they both have horrible dress sense) so the rest of you who stan for lessors can shut the f*** up about Gaga’s weight.
