I love Keyshia Cole… but this song is Zip- Zero. So far Enough of No Love is the gem of the album. I’m getting nervous for her.

As a KC fan I can only be honest when I comment on her songs. It’s not bad. The lyrics are good but the production doesn’t blend with her vocals in parts of the song. I’m undecided if I can see it as a single or as an album filler……

Hmmmm. This may be harsh of me to say but I almost wish Daniel would cheat on her or something. She says she wants to go back to the old her, but I don’t hear the emotion in her voice anymore like on “The Way It Is” and “Just Like You” ;-(
haha you’re wrong for that. I don’t know why people just wont accept that she is happy. And if her so called ‘fans’ were really her fans they would take her as she is. When i see her in interviews now a days and she is saying, ‘it’s for the fans..the fans want this…” i’m a bit sympathetic that she feels she cannot be herself and has to keep singing about being hurt. Maybe it’s time she sings a song about her family relationship and her mother, then she would really tap into those emotions.
No one would care if she made more lyrically upbeat music…the problem is that SHE doesn’t sell positive, upbeat and ‘feel good.’ Keyshia is at her best when she’s mad, scorned or has an attitude. That’s on her. If she wants to make lighter toned music, then she needs to learn to sell it the same way she does angry.
It’s not harsh of you to say it, it’s straight up EVIL. This is the kind of madness so called “fans” of Mary J Blige used to say when she tried to switch up her music. I love both of their music and don’t really understand why miserable people want others to be as miserable as they are. Maybe you’ve never bought an entire album of hers and so aren’t really qualified to judge whether she can carry lighter themed songs or not because she definitely has – A DIFFERENT ME is a hot album but people like you probably didn’t support it.
I’m not into Keyshia , but this is the best song from this era so far! I like it!

I think this song will grow on me! I am excited as an R&B fan because the production is great and it was put together very well….
Keyshia’s voice was the breaking point for me here. She should have def. re-recorded this and stayed in key. She sounds flat & I just can’t overlook that. I’ll give it a few more listens but I’m not too thrilled about this. I appreciate the effort as far as the concept of the song & melody of the verses/chorus. “tt pays to tell the truth..!”
