Watch: Ne-Yo Wows ‘The Voice’ With ‘Let Me Love You’

R&B crooner Ne-Yo is hot on the promo trail for his latest release ‘R.E.D.’ and its top 10 single ‘Let Me Love You’.

Tonight saw ‘The Voice’ get a visit from the ‘Do You’ divo and accompaniment from one of its top contestants Amanda Brown.  How did the duo fare?  You tell us after the jump:

Wow would be the right term.  Unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons.  Kudos to the crooner for the stage spectacle that he always brings with his performance.  The vocals on the other hand…

The vocals were off!Amanda Brown who I love sounded better than him and she got sent off which was stupid as hell.

I thought he was fine, Amanda sounded great though but she was eliminated unfortunately.

Ne-Yo is a really good performer, he puts his all into his performances and is an excellent dancer. That said, he is a horrible live singer. He sounds very flat and pitchy. He pulls off super intense dance routines and then tries to belt out a song in his high(est) flat register. I appreciate the much noticed effort, however he needs to either lip sync or sing standing STILL. My ears cannot take.

Didn’t like this performance. The song arrangement was wrong and Ne-Yo didn’t seem very committed to any part of it. Time to move on from LMLY.

Reigning King of R&B Slayed that performance!! NOT yall complaining about the damn vocals when Ne-Yo doesn’t worship the devil with lip-sync like Chris Brown . Yall will deal! Anyway…

Catch Ne-Yo tonight slaying at the Grammy Nominations Show ( Where he is obviously gonna get nominated for LMLY. That’s 1 song while some of your favs struggle to get nominated for a full length album)

Also on Friday Ne-Yo will slay the Jingleball..

And of course Black America is in for a treat when Ne-Yo & Jamie Foxx both slay o SNL on Saturday.

Coming for those album & single sales!

    Oops but got overall performance.
Did she really sing it like that. She has a voice but the way she used her voice in this was a NO NO!

Miss Ne-Yo sold less than me. Enough said.

What the hell happened? The Amanda lady can sing and I KNOW Ne-Yo can…maybe all his promo took it’s toll and it showed in this performance…he may need to give his voice some rest for a few days….bc this was not IT!
