Despite being on a musical hiatus of sorts, Spears continues to enjoy mammoth success with current single ‘Scream & Shout’ – particularly in the UK. The track, which is a co-headlined release from will.i.am, retained its spot atop of the Official UK Singles Chart this week – extending its stay at #1 to two consecutive weeks.
The impressive feat saw the single fend off major challenges from 50 Cent and Eminem‘s ‘My Life’ (#2), as well as Timberlake’s comeback effort ‘Suit & Tie’ (#3).

I cannot express how disappointed I am in Justin and his music at the moment. WTF was that song all about? I mean the song itself, the production, the lyrics, his voice, etc….everything was just disappointing. I was expecting a lot from him so he felt extremely too short in my eyes. I agree. I’m not the type that needs a song to “grow ” on me by listening to it multiple times, either I like it or I don’t, only need one listen to know that. (i dont even understand that line of thinking anyway). I just think its a weak single but because people like Justin and have been desiring a comeback, they’re willing to almost convince themselves it’s a better song than it is.
