Alexis Spight Debuts Video For New Single ‘Steady’

As reported here ‘Sunday’s Best’ Season 5 runner up Alexis Spight has had much to smile about in past weeks given the great anticipation for ‘L.O.L.’ – her debut album.  Due next month, the project’s first single ‘Steady’ has been receiving much love from gospel fans on both sides of the pond and has seen a steady rise up gospel charts.

Chaka Khan Enlists Gospel Hitmaker Lecrae For New Single

R&B legend Chaka Khan is looking to kick off her 40th anniversary in the music business by revisiting every genre she’s touched over her illustrious career.  Indeed, the 10-time Grammy winning songbird is readying a new album ‘The iKhan Project: Commemorative Limited Edition’ – a project that will see Khan tackle gospel, R&B, jazz, classical, country, pop/dance, and rock music.

Its first installment – due April 30th – is preceded by the inspirational single ‘It’s Not Over’ featuring gospel rapper Lecrae.  Listen below:

Kirk Franklin Joins ‘American Bible Challenge’, Reflects On Life & Career With ‘Rock Center’

Kirk Franklin has lent over two decades worth of hits to gospel and pop charts with his revolutionary take on the genre.  Now, the hitmaker is looking to extend his already full resume by joining the season 2 cast of GSN’s top rated show ‘American Bible Challenge’.  Hosted by comedian Jeff Foxxworthy, the gig will see Franklin entertain the audiences with hits from his catalogue as well as co-hosting duties.
