To be perfectly honest, I don’t know how this album will veer, commercially-speaking.
She wound up compromising her artistry and in hopes of selling with ‘PF:RR’ and, thus, alienated her ‘Mix-Tape/Debut-Album’ fans whilst gaining new, young, fans, belonging to the Pop demographic; either way, because her sound is now rooted within two different sets of musical genres, it’s going to become harder to please both groups.
9-14 year olds, of whom make up a large quantity of her fanbase, will want ‘Super-Bass/Va Va Voom/Right By My Side/Pound the Alarm/Starships’ parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc…
Whereas, her original/Hip-Hop fans will want ‘Hardcore’ Nicki.
In my opinion, that’s what happens when you ‘sell-out’ your craft for commerce. Her future sales, from here on out, will fluctuate depending on the arena of music she creates.

I must admit that I’ve lost a lot of interest in Nicki Minaj over the past year or so, mainly because the material that was on “Roman Reloaded.” That album was pure garbage. Even the more hip-hop oriented tracks lacked substance. I’m not even sure what to expect or even suggest for her third album. Please no bubblegum pop, Nicki. You can do so much better than that!

She is forever “taking it back to her mixtapes” but even back in her mixtape days she was just okay, certainly no real lyricist.

They brought back Pink Friday and exchange it for other female rapper cd. The only reason why she sold that much of the first because of the beef with Kim. Kim didn’t respond to Nicki on PF:RR & Nicki flopped.
