Published: Wednesday 10th Apr 2013 by Sam

When flying at the height at success that Chris Brown‘s at, a lot goes into the launch of a new project.

Indeed, in an industry that sees nothing guaranteed, for many it’s a case of “the more successful, the more effort needed to maintain it”.

Keen to provide a true insight into the “glitz and glamour” of being a hard-working artist, the 23-year-old has released an insightful video diary chronicling the press launch of blazing new single ‘Fine China’

Watch C.Breezy at work (literally) below…

‘China’ is lifted from Brown’s upcoming album ‘X’, which is due this Summer.

flyin’ at the height of success ?!

I’m not hating and i’m a fan enough , but not with his last album being rejected like plaque from everyone , it didn’t even go platinum to talk about success……..

go buy “fine china” at iTunes.

One Album’s/CD’s success be it grand or small, does not dictate the success or lack thereof of an artist. People slay me getting caught up in sales figues and chart placement when ANYONE WITH HALF A WIT should realize by now how RIGGED, CONTROLLED & FIXED the music industry (as is true for the whole of the media & film industy) happens to be! If you are an industry/media DARLIN’ you will be given preference (see Justine Timberfake). If not, you simply wont. 23-year-old Chris Brown has been battling uphill for quite a while now. I’m just hopeful that he continues on his journey and not allow anything to stop his progress! The media is a B**** & IT’S BRUTAL TOWARD BLACK ARTIST (see CB, Rihanna, MJ, Whitney or Beyonce & her pet camel’s trip to Cuba. DAMN you would think they killed an orphange filled with new born babies) 0_o

But I do agree….”go buy “fine china” at iTunes.” and the amazing video also available! 🙂

As long as Chris talk about the music and and not his relationship with Rihanna his album will do fine. Because right now all people care about is if they are together or not and it’s overshadowing his promotion for X and his single. Focus on the music & as long as it’s good music people will buy! By the way Fine China is a great record and I hope that it will have the success it deserves.

  8. (Attention all R&B artists: You’re not in Africa anymore. Please call Dr. Luke!!!!!! April 10, 2013

“First of all, I don’t really like n/igger music. Now before you act all offended, I would never (publicly) call any Black person a ni/gger, I’m just saying that Beyoncé usually makes nigg/er music. R&B/urban/Black people music has never made much sense to me; it’s just a bunch of hollering, jungle noises and drums as far as I’m concerned (Attention all R&B artists: You’re not in Africa anymore. Please call Dr. Luke! NOW!). I guess Beyoncé thinks she’s too good to use the same overused beats, sounds and producers as her peers, but I don’t see the point in releasing music for any purpose other than going Top 5 on the Hot 100 or appeasing Caucasian bottoms and 12 year olds. Let me just be clear, I don’t completely hate Black music or Black artists. I’ll listen to Black music if it’s performed by White Artists (Adele, Eminem, Amy Winehouse) and I’ll listen to Black artists as long as they are performing European-inspired music, but I don’t really care for most of Beyoncé’s discography. See, when I’m looking for songs to twerk my taint to, I want less “Treat me with respect and put a ring on it” and more “F*** me raw and text me when you feel like it”. “

In all honesty…Ray J’s “Hit It First” is actually a banger!

When we forget about the story behind the scenes, this is one of the catchiest R&B songs released since the beginning of the year.

Oh yeah about Chris…well, Fine China is cool, that’s all I got for now.
