Kanye West is clearly looking to make a statement with new album ‘Yeezus’. Indeed, beyond the project’s controversial name and lack of lead single, it now appears its cover is the latest component of the project used to drive home its “left-field” approach ahead of its June 18th release.
Unveiled moments ago on the rapper’s official website, the LP’s artwork was ushered in with the following statement:
“No cover, booklet, just a sticker on the reverse of the package with the track list”

This is the in-store album art. There is alternate cover w/ him on a cross. That obviously caused outrage, so he made it simple & didn’t include album artwork, just a duct tape with ‘YEEZY’ written on it. Google is your friend, guys
