Sure, while it may be a little too experimental for an act as fresh as Rita, the video does do the Switch produced song justice.
In saying that, here’s hoping album #2 sees Rita tread safer territory as to win over as many fans as possible. For, while the above may be the business to her core fans, it may be a little confusing- or too niche- for an audience who doesn’t know her as well.
Basically, for Rita to truly pop in the US, some effort may have to be made in sweetening her up- or at least striking a happy medium between being a little rough around the edges and Disney friendly. A medium, that’ll need to be applied to her look and sound for her to soar just as high internationally as she did in the UK.
