One night before the show kicks off in LA’s Nokia Theatre, the BET Awards have unveiled their seating chart for the ceremony- revealing where a few of the night’s leading acts will be seated.
Want to know where your favorite act’s been placed?
Sat in the front row- and one seat away from Chris Brown– will be ‘Va Va Voom’ Rapper Nicki Minaj with one empty seat to their respective right hand sides.
Meanwhile, R.Kelly will rub shoulders with Erykah Badu, Terrence J and ‘Bad B*tch’ MC Fabolous– all of whom have been assigned to the section near enough to spot the hit maker that is Pharrell, seated by long time collaborator Justin Timberlake.
Side note: Keep a very close eye on this row throughout the night.
Elsewhere, Mindless Behavior have been placed at the end of their row, one spot in front of ‘Wicked Games‘ purveyor The Weeknd, while Kendrick Lamar has been allotted a front row seat- joined by ‘Adorn’ crooner Miguel .
Quite interestingly, ‘Prisoner of Love’ star Mariah Carey has been placed right next to ‘Deliver Us From Eva‘ actress Gabrielle Union, perched in between Nick Cannon and Union’s partner Dwayne Wade.
This, as Ciara can expect to spend most of her night with boyfriend Future and ‘Fashion Killa’ A$AP Rocky, placed behind the ‘Body Party‘ creators but next the Best International UK and Africa nominees.
From what we hear, fans of the show will want to keep a close eye on this section too.
As if that wasn’t enough, viewers are also guaranteed to stars from ABC’s ‘Scandal’ and VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ in attendance, as well as Luke James, Elijah Blake, Janelle Monae and a whole host of A-listers whose seats won’t be unveiled until the show kicks off 8p/7C!
Until them, keep it locked on TGJ as more from the night’s plan emerges!
