Confirmed as one of the many acts set to storm this year’s ‘BET Experience’, Elijah Blake caught up with our friends over at ‘YouKnowIGotSoul’ recently for an interview which sees him explain the story behind his bourgeoning success.
From his days as a Blockbuster sales clerk to the unique story behind his start as a songwriter, his conversation with ‘Soul’ also sees him explain how he went from emailing his favorite acts on MySpace…to soaring with them on the charts.

I don’t get the push with this guy. Running Blind was the only song I liked and there is nothing special about his voice or (co) songwriting ability. Maybe the album will surprise me but I doubt it.
