Measuring a public figure’s fame, wealth and influence- Forbes ‘Most Powerful Celebrity List’ is a tally many-if no most- performers hope to find themselves.
Now, in what can only boost their stock in the eyes of those who invest in them, the likes of Lady GaGa, Madonna and Beyonce have scored big on this year’s tally- released to the world today!

All too telling of the smoke’n’mirrors most acts use to ‘portray’ wealth and influence, we were amazed that Beyonce and GaGa ranked so high- considering the data used to put this list together was pulled from June 2012- June 2013.
In the bulk of this period, both ladies were inactive, but still continued to generate capital thanks to their hands on approach to pushing their causes…ie, earning publishing from songs they penned themselves.
Of course, while all praise goes to Oprah for coming at #1, there’s no doubt Madonna’s Top 5 placement stands a testament to her power and longevity as an artist, continuing to reap the rewards for being act who remains ahead of the curve, after almost three decades at the top.
