Hot Shot: Erica Campbell (of Mary Mary) Unmasks Solo Single Artwork

Published: Sunday 9th Jun 2013 by Rashad

Erica Campbell is playing approximately no games when it comes to launching her solo career.  Evidence of such can be found in the recently unveiled cover artwork to her first solo single ‘A Little More Jesus’.

Shared via the songstress’s Instagram, the tune – which we exclusively premiered here – has already garnered impacted Billboard’s gospel top 25 and earned praise from gospel critics and tastemakers in the month since its release.  The Warryn Campbell-produced cut comes courtesy of her forthcoming debut due on My Block Records/eOne Music later this year.

The cover art surfaces just weeks before its parent single is set to sail (and sell) on digital outlets June 25th.  Until then, click here to listen.

Gorgeous cover.. The song is not contemporary enough for me. But I credit Mary Mary and Karen Clark Sheard for REALLY getting me into gospel in the early 2000s! Good Bless.

I’m so excited for her. She is ready to move forward! I know it must be a breath of fresh air and a very revitalizing thing for both of them to have independence! The song is excellent. She will slay this live all over the place. She may be coming to a church near you! lol.

I LOVE THE COVER!!! A little disappointed she’s using this song as her first single though…I’ll support her anyways even though I’m not feeling the song. I was hoping for more of a contemporary R&B sound….

A little more Jesus in my life – A little bit o’ Holy Ghost by my side – A little God the Father’s what I need – A little bit of Seraphim what I see
