Keen to embrace the art of competition Roc Nation’s Cole actually moved up the release of his sophomore set ‘Born Sinner’ so as to go toe-to-toe with West – a move many have hailed for its bravery (and audacity).
And while the real “winner” is arguably fans of Hip-Hop, we -as ever-want to plough through the smoke and mirrors to find out which releases the masses are truly “here” for. Forget the leaks, the babies, and the media spin and let us know…

Definitely Purchased Born Sinner, after listening to both leaks Cole won me over. Initially I was going to buy both but Kanye comes off as arrogant these days and surprisingly Target didn’t even have Yeezus in stock yet.
Born Sinner is a very solid effort by Cole. It’s a grower you must listen to the songs repeatedly and enjoy stories and testimonials to appreciate the album. Great purchase

To be honest I didn’t like the songs I heard from Kanye. But J Cole’s record is dope, especially the song he did with TLC called ‘Crooked Smile’. A song with a good message behind it. That really needs to be released as the next single with a music video with T Boz & Chilli.
