What’s with all the hate for MJ. He was talented and not just a good dancer. If he wasn’t known for his voice there is no point calling him the King of Pop. If anybody is overrated it’s Elvis and Beetles. MJ should have sold more records than them. I do believe that MJ was not the only talented singer though. I am not a delusional MJ fan. There were other artist just as good or even better, such as, Johnny Gill,Bobby Brown,Rick James,Prince. Some how they all got over shadowed by MJ. Maybe their music wasn’t as good but the talent was there.
PS there are currently no artist TODAY that can touch MJ. So stop with the Ciara,Chris Brown, Beyonce and Rihanna comparisons. Have you heard Chris Brown sing? He’s horrible.

Madonna wasn’t the female version of him, she is Madonna, just like MJ didn’t was another version of Elvis, each one has its grace.
Madonna was in no way and will never be equal to MJ talent wise…SORRY! She never could sing. She barely wrote anything and Mike wrote most of his music. Plus he was innovative from his music videos to his dance moves. I always stay with the desire to hear an album of Michael that could have been as great as Abbey Road’, ‘Sign o’ the Times’, ‘Ray of Light’ or The Velvet Rope’ as a music fan, i listen to almost all type of music from Rock to Pop, Janet is a better artist than he ever was, no because he couldn’t do an album like ‘The Velvet Rope’ but because he didn’t want to and that was when he lost me, he chose success over quality, he wasn’t a perfectionist, he was afraid of what his trapped 80’s fans and music critics would say about his mucic, he was afraid of low sales, he wanted to continue with the big sales reputation, what makes you think, he really had a complex of superiority that isolated him from people who maybe could have helped him to do great things that we won’t see, lost of MJ fans hate Madonna but looking at things now, i think what he needed was a person like her in his life, at least in his professional life, she didn’t have the God given talent that he possessed but she have the mind, the concept, the attitude, he chose to hate on her because she was a b****, she was a w****, she hated Janet, ect, ect at the end of the day the people he chose are the ones who betrayed him and the ones that are doing the same thing to his childrem, his family, was his worst enemy, i will always remember him as my first idol even if that changed as an adult man, he was part of my childhood, stop the hate towards other artists, i don’t think there will never be 4 biggest artist like The Beatles, Elvis Presley, MJ and Madonna, it doesn’t matter which one is your favorite or if you don’t like them, truth is you can’t downplay or put in doubt their impact, legacy in music even if your favs aren one of those 4, they should be called the FAB FOUR, they are the real BEATLES.

He changed the way record companies would spend on promoting albums & videos. Micheal Jackson record sales was IMPRESSIVE but I think he did get to obsessed with SELLING RECORDS instead of creating a masterpiece personal album like VELVET ROPE RAY OF LIGHT… But his albums are like you said POP MASTERPIECES. I will always love him no matter what! What do you think of him as a child artist? His singing at that age was incredible! Songs like “I Wanna Be Where You Are” & “Got To Be There” & “Ben” are greats. Also, all the Jackson 5 stuff from the late 60s & 70s & 80s. His entire career from child star to Invincible was PURE GENIUS
The disrespect that some children here show is unreal, the guy was proven not guilty on all 14 Charges during the 2003-5 Trial and the FBI themselves released ALL his files and documents in December 2009 Anyway so why the f*** do some people still believe in lies? And just so you know, NO real p******** is accused in their late 30s or even f****** 40s! It always starts with a line of victims, or just one victim coming forward! But none did, in fact in both 1993 and 2003-5 Trials it was one of the parents who came forward and clearly lied.

You literally cant expect him to do something unhuman, he had to perform and dance at the same time you realize.

F*** you haters, when your favorite artist can achieve even half of what Michael has achieved, then you can say anything, until then, shut up and deal with the fact that Michael is a legend and has influenced so many artists of today.
