Now, after watching their first duet ‘S&M (Remix)’ peak at # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Rihanna has responded to reports that has teamed up with Britney Spears for a second duet. This time….on a guitar driven ballad.

Yesterday afternoon, users of Spears’ biggest fan site ‘Breathe Heavy‘ were whipped into a frenzy when numerous reports across the web claimed that Rihanna had called on the icon to record a cut named, ‘Running Blind’.
Reportedly recorded in aid of a new project by the ‘Let Me‘ singer, claims the alleged duet took an interesting turn when the pair’s respective fan bases unearthed a cut of the same name…originally recorded by their mutual collaborator Elijah Blake for his debut EP ‘Bijoux 22‘.
Quite interestingly, in digging for more details on the supposed sing-off, these fans swarmed Rihanna’s ‘BadGalRiri’ Instagram page for answers, when it emerged that Blake had been enlisted to pen material for Britney’s 8th studio album after crafting the song ‘No Love Allowed‘ for Ri’s ‘Unapologetic’.
Refusing to deny the report, she said the following when quizzed:
If accurate, the pair’s duet would mark a bold yet trend aware turn for both acts, following the success of Fenty’s Triple Platinum single ‘Stay‘, and after the critical acclaim afforded to Britney‘s 2004 smash hit ‘Everytime’.
