Bridget Kelly‘s ‘Street Dreamin’ saw itself served a fresh dose of life today, when its official video dropped ahead of the performers’ debut album.
Produced by the ever impressive Shea Taylor and shot in North Carolina, the video marks the latest clip to arrive in aid of the project, which is set to feature the rising hit ‘Special Delivery’ and contributions from many a R&B hitmaker…Jerry Wonda included.

As we watched, and thoroughly enjoyed the video, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t begin to worry for Kelly’s campaign.
At the moment, the love and respect for her craft is there, but the anticipation she’ll need to soar on a commercial tip isn’t.
Crazy, but true. It’s for this reason we’re hoping her LP doesn’t drop until the first quarter of 2014 as to allow her to use 2013 to force feed her current material (or a new EP) to the masses as to ensure their support once the album drops.
Whether by jumping on a tour fronted by a Hip Hop staple or simply hopping on as many collaborative cuts as possible….anything to build up her stock for the casual listener and radio before they’re expected to pick up and push the LP respectively.
For, much like Melanie Fiona, Bridget is far too gifted to play second fiddle to acts far less talented and driven as she is.
