For some who are saying she’s getting fake, biting, or trying too hard, you must really not know any of her music or understand her vision AT ALL.
If you heard her songs such as “Violet Stars Happy Hunting!”, “Many Moons”, “Faster”, “Come Alive”, & “Tightrope” and the accompanying music videos (Many Moons especially), you’d understand that this is yet another of one of her fun pop-punk type records. But no, yall sleep & then go off of whatever yall see her perform on TV.
P.S. Yall talk s*** about her all the time for always wearing the same thing, but when she decides to have a little fun & lets her hair down & changes her fit she’s all of a sudden fake? I’ve came to the conclusion that yall ain’t never satisfied.

any haters need to worry cause this chick is only about to release her second full length and she’s already schooling all your fav’s that have been in the business for over 10 years. this woman is the next judy garland, james brown, tina turner, lauryn hill (yes we need a new one), prince, and mj rolled into one. shes pastiche and she will hone her own vision eventually but your fav could only DREAM of starting with what ms monae is working with.
