The rapper’s latest subject? Lady GaGa.
They may have shared a manager in the power player that is Troy Carter, and now- if suggestions made by Banks are anything to go by- management isn’t the only thing Mother Monster has in common with the 22-year-old.

In sourcing a rationale, most are pointing to Banks’ abrupt delete from the feature list on ‘ARTPOP’. Indeed, all but confirmed was the pair’s duet, only for GaGa to announce last week that the 22-year-old will not be on what many have christened the most anticipated album of the decade.
Meanwhile, Banks’ debut ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’ sits unreleased after months of delays and fizzled buzz. Clearly, her focus should be on reviving her own movement rather than obsessing over that of others.

Listen, until very recently, I stanned for Azealia Banks. But the past year and a half has been disappointment after disappointment.
This album was supposed to be released during July of last year… July! What is taking so long? Her label is probably watering everything down, as evidenced by the fun—yet generic—”ATM Jam.” Which, by the way, STILL hasn’t been officially released in the US, even though it is clearly a summer song. And it still has no video.
So that’s going to flop. Do you still honestly think the album is coming out in October/November? And even if by some mircale it does get released this year, it won’t be the Azealia we fell in love with. It’s going to be a watered down version, so she can be more “palatable” to the public.
I was set free when I stopped holding my breath for this album. You should do the same.
