Two years after taking the album to #5 in their market, the British public have continued to show their love for Drake‘s sophomore set ‘Take Care’ this week.
How, you ask?
Drake‘s latest win below!
One month before the release of his new album ‘Nothing Was The Same’, the Rapper’s audience have purchased enough copies of the album this week to see it spend its 90th non-consecutive week in the Urban Top 20.
Currently perched at #11 on the Official Urban Chart, the album’s mind blowing run on the chart comes months after the LP was certified Gold in the nation for sales of over 100,000 units- all of which were sold at full price.
Now however, the project is being sold at the discounted price of £5.99- giving British audiences even more an incentive to pick up the critically acclaimed LP, which enjoyed a steady run on the chart’s Top 40 before its price was reduced.
Sure to see its sales rocket even further upon the release of ‘Nothing Was The Same‘, ‘Care’s chart glory marks one of many commercial feats to be secured this week.
For, rising one spot to #18 is Rihanna‘s ‘Loud’– spending its 142nd week in the Top 20 while Beyonce‘s ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ one ups it by spending its 241st week in the Top 40, currently housed at #22 as 2011’s ‘4′ rocks out at #26!
