As September draws nearer, so too does the release of Janelle Monae‘s eagerly awaited new album ‘The Electric Lady’.
Preceded by singles ‘Dance Apocalyptic’ and the Eyrkah Badu assisted ‘Q.U.E.E.N’, the set’s freshly unwrapped tracklist confirms features from the likes of Solange and icon Prince.
Needless to say, the 27-year-old has found favour among some of music’s most respected names. Judging by the material we’ve heard thus far, she looks poised to add to her ever-growing fan base with this particular project.

This is probably one of the best album covers I’ve seen in a long time. The nice thing about it is that I know the music will be just as good as the cover because Janelle is seriously one of the BEST things in music right now. She is just amazing. I will be buying a deluxe and standard edition to show my support.
