‘The 20/20 Experience’ continues.
After selling over 2 million copies of the original (since March), Justin Timberlake is gearing up for the release of its aptly titled follow-up – ‘The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)’.
Due September 30th, the fiercely anticipated set is preceded by single ‘Take Back The Night’, last Sunday’s much-loved VMA performance, and an inevitably long list of other promo stops.
So as to keep his buzz a’buzzing, the former Nsync’er has unwrapped a new teaser clip for the set, which sees him reflecting on the recording process, as well as in the studio with longtime collaborator Timbaland.

Though ‘Take Back The Night’ did approximately nothing for us, the concept of the project alone has us amped to hear what it’ll sound like as a body of work. Here’s hoping it’ll live up to the hype. Then again, at this point, Justin could recording the sound of himself urinating and still sell by the bucket-load. The perks of Pop superstardom, ay.

I can’t hate this man, yes the last album was just ok, not bad, but wasn’t at or above FS/LS. But he’s a good writer and came back with HIS sound.
This also shows me that Aaliyah would’ve been at a whole different level, Timberland is our gen great producer. There’s only a few artist that he makes masterpieces with, that’s Aaliyah, Missy and JT. The rest are forced. I recall Tim, JT, Aaliyah and Missy talk about just being in the studio and just vibing. It’s comes down to the vibe and trust and THAT’s why those 3 artist records are so timeless.
People bring up Usher and Usher is the ONLY entertainer that can stand next to MJ or have a huge carrer in his own right. But his last records has been “keep me relevant Vs this is my sound and craft. He’s coming, but he need to find that middle ground between great R&B, Pop and taking a chance.
I enjoyed his first half (The 20/20 Experience) it was great from start to finish. I feel like the 2nd half it’s gonna be more uptempo, idk based on the promo shoots – the pictures seem to have more color to it. I’m indicating that it’s gonna sound more upbeat. I’m deff pump to hear the Drake & Jay Z collabs! Bring it on JT
I like the reaching to shade Justin. He delivers solid throwback R&B and you shade meanwhile lessers trying to do the same thing and you praise them. Typical.
