Seven years after his passing in Atlanta, Georgia, ‘Soul Pride‘ performer James Brown has seen work on his long awaited biopic gain fresh steam this week, now an actor has been selected to portray in the cinematic release.

Set to be directed by ‘The Help‘s Tate Taylor, the ‘Universal’ movie has now called on Chadwick Boseman to play the leading role, years after Brown joined writers in penning its script.
While a release date for the project is yet to be announced, fans can expect it to cover all six decades of the icon’s career, beginning with his poverty stricken and violent formative years to the end of his life, showcased in a screenplay written by Jez & John Henry Butterworth.

This should be interesting. Don’t know who could possibly portray James Brown, because in his prime he was pure fiyah, no one could touch him. No pyro tech, smoke, mirrors etc., just him, his band, and back up singers rockin it out. He was truly something to behold. He was Michael Jackson’s inspiration. Mike knew what he was seeing was awesome and legendary.
