Danity Kane are back and are wasting no time returning to the stage.
The Pop quad, who announced their reformation and new single ‘Rage’ last month, have been named as the latest act to perform at one America’s hottest music extravaganza’s.

Aubrey, Aundrea, Shannon, and Dawn will be hitting the stage at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas on September 21st:
The high-profile gig marks the first time the “showstoppin” stage blazers have performed together since being disbanded in 2009.

Well they better roll out the single “Rage” before so the crowd has a chance to sing along and rock with them… Here’s to hoping the single comes out on Tuesday but more than likely we’ll be seeing it shortly after their performance. I’m excited to see what they’ve got up their sleeves.

I realize that, and that is probably going to be the case – the first time we hear it will be their performance. I was just stating that if I was in attendance I would want to rock with DK and know some of the song, but either way the single is coming soon so I am happy!

D. Woods definitely needs to reconsider if she “really” isn’t coming back. This is too major to pass up. She can’t be that dumb. If she’s not, call Audra or Lyndriette from RichGirl, Jade Ewen from Sugababes, Asia Nitollano from PCD or Tiffanie Anderson from Girlicious. All of those girls are better than her and SURELY looking for a job lol.
I’ve always been here for Danity Kane! Their music slays and I love them as five, four, and I even loved them when it was going to possibly be three! They make amazing music! Everyone’s a star here, hence a true girl group.
Yessss! This is good news! they are not playing around this time. Love seeing all the instagram pics of the girls, clearly busy working in the studio and now this. Great news.
I’ve never been this excited about a girlgroup since TLC and then the Spice Girls. DK will slay and will show those other girlgroups how it must be done.
It would have been awesome with D woods in the group but this formation may be even better, her energy was always a bit… off. I hope that this time arounf they will give my girl Shannon more room to shine. She is so underrated.
Shannon naturally doesn’t have as much shine as the other girls vocally and should stay in her role because her vocals just don’t have that it factor or much personality or pizazz at all.
I disagree. Yes Aundrea and Dawn are the main vocalists of the group and are both amazing. But Shannon has grown so much vocally in the last couple of years (take a listen to her EP or watch some solo gigs from her on YouTube).
The reason that Shannon was/is the underdog made me love her. And when it comes to dancing she slays and that’s where she really shines the most.
I just think that she didn’t got the parts that she deserved first time around, but I hope that this time she will get more leads. Also knowing that Shannon is in the group means that the harmonies will be on point. She carried those harmonies especially on the first album.
All in all… can’t wait for DK4. My fave four ladies are still in it and that is making me glad.
We’re gonna have to agree to disagree because I’ve seen all of Shannon’s work, (I’m friends with her on facebook too) because I feel very strongly that she is a role player the least strong member of the group and isn’t an underdog at all. That’s just how it is. All members of the group got 2 chances, 2 albums to shine and I’ve seen her solo stuff and I’ve seen more than enough. She’s not an underdog at all, she’s a role player who can step up and shine every now and then and that’s ok.
Shannon has an incredible voice. And I can guarantee this time around she will get her chance to shine. I’m excited to see how the solos get split up. I suspect Aubrey and Shannon will get much of their shine in verses while dawn and Andrea will probably get the lions share of ad libs and bridges and they’ll definitely anchor the harmonies like they did before.
These are exciting times for dk fans. I’m beyond ready for them to fill the girl group void that none of the pretenders out there right now are capable of filling.
I like Shannon but when it’s her turn to sing she is the most boring in my opinion and has the least memorable parts. Say what you want about that flake D. Woods but she had some memorable parts and Shannon had her chancec on Welcome To The Dollhouse to impress and it was just alright.
Looking forward to seeing what they come up with on their new cd.

I think even tho Aubrey is the richest member of Danity Kane that she should still be lead of this Album because Dawn is shamelessly still promoting her thirsty solo career (no shade) and after all that sneak s*** she was doing before the band broke up which she ended up just being least priority on the label anyways and who else is it going to be? Aundrea can’t dance so if she’s in the center the whole time that won’t be a good look and we already know Shannon is a supporting player so it’s All About Aubrey.
