Diva domination is upon us!
As fans know, the last few weeks have seen the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus take turns ruling the Hot 100 with their respective efforts while pop veteran Britney Spears prepped her newest single for battle against the trio.
Now that the net has gone wild in response to the ‘Circus’ singer’s latest dance-heavy track ‘Work B*tch’, we want to know:
How does it stack up against the competition?
We asked you last week if you thought Britney’s forthcoming release would hold its weight against ‘Roar’ and ‘Applause’. While ‘Roar’ has so far made the loudest noise on the charts (pushing nearly 600k of downloads in its first week and enjoying a two week reign on Hot 100 to date), ‘Applause’ has garnered it’s fair share of critical acclaim and buzz for its parent album ‘ArtPop’.
And, of course, let’s not discount pop princess Miley Cyrus’ whose newest tune ‘Wrecking Ball’ just set a VEVO viewership record for the most views in 24 hours. A feat, according to this report, that will boost it to next week’s #1 position on the Hot 100 (ousting Katy Perry).
