This movie will do what it usually does. It has its fans, not me at all, and these movies are not quality. But it will do what they usually do Gaga being there or not. It won´t flop compared to other previous movies, this is a franchise. You are just trying to anticipate a flop and trying to attach her name to it when she won´t play a part on that success or lack of. I suppose you are one of those who think Battleship (a true flop, both commercially and critically) had its audience cos of Rihanna or several the movies Beyonce was in had its audiences thanks to her when they were going to do well or bad regardless since these women played it safe and were only secondary actors or the movie was a franchise. Few are brave (or folls) enough to debut in a movie completely attached to their name like Mariah or Whitney (and even Whitney had Kevin Costner´s help as the leading role)

Radio airplay dictates what people, mainstream, hear and buy as a consequence, so if a 2 or 3 songs have more airplay right now cos they are more fitting for radio and young audiences who buy itunes singles cos those songs are “cleaner” and had big radio deals, of course they are going to be above Gaga´s song. But top 5 for more than a month in sales is a hit.
