whitney and celine being ‘real singers’ no doubt had a lot of input into how a song was to be arranged and delivered. in britney’s state every little note and nuance is probably laid out for her just as everything is in her private life.

Honey, I don’t care if Britney couldn’t sing one note, that’s besides the point Im addressing. They are pop stars, and theres a reason people prefer Britney to, say, Mariah. So stop using the whole ‘talent’ thing. How do you know Britney doesn’t know whats going on? Just because shes not a great singer? She explained what her album was about so clearly she does. And actually, Britney writes for other artists as @NT clarified.

Who told you people prefer Britney to Mariah? Mariah´s career is bigger and her sales too, and without the crazy hype generated by the t*** phenomenom first and crazy media focus later on, just music and talent. Mariah is 10 years older so it´s normal some Britney´s singles (danceable singles, which is the current thing on the charts) perform better than Mariah´s, was that the reason you said people prefer Britney???
