One week before its November 24th arrival, the 2013 ‘American Music Awards’ have announced TLC and Jennifer Lopez as two of the latest acts to join its promising line up.
This, shortly before confirming the attendance of Pop princess Katy Perry, enlisted to open the show with her brand new single ‘Unconditionally.’
Airing live on ABC, the star studded award show will come baring a Celia Cruz tribute from fellow Latina siren Lopez, while TLC will take to the stage with a ‘very special surprise guest’!
As if that wasn’t enough, music lovers can also look forward to performances from R.Kelly, Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, One Direction, Justin Timberlake and Pitbull, who’s signed onto star as the event’s host.

This is great but I am kinda worried about the TLC Performance since T-Boz’s issue has been slowing her down recently.
I honestly feel TLC should be honoured at this award and the VMA’s along with Sade, Janet Jackson and Aaliyah soon.
Why is Jennifer Lopez is performing she doesn’t have a new song. Her last song was the one with Pitbull. I am glad that Katy Perry is performing and Lady Gaga. I can’t wait to sing there songs when they perform on the stage.

That’ll be amazing if they do a Left Eye Hologram! Everybody will go crazy!! But if not I’m hoping the Special Guest is Lil Mama!! She deserves it she did such a phenomenal job on the TLC Movie. Plus JayZ & Alicia Keys might be there since their nominated. So I want Lil Mama! That’ll be too cool 🙂

I understand where you come from. At some point I thought the same thing. But then I realized that wouldn’t be TLC it will forever be “T-Boz Left Eye Chilli.” However I love the idea of Lil Mama, what they should do is keep bringing her as a special guest. I believe for their 2014 tour, Lil Mama should continue paying homage to Left Eye by performing with TLC throughout the whole performance. She should come out with them and leave the stage with them. That’ll be amazing if they can do that, but most likely for the tour they’ll just bring her out for certain songs.
