‘That Beyonce reign just won’t let up.’
Hours before its hotly anticipated physical release, Beyonce‘s self-titled new album has welcomed more good news with open arms this morning, now that it’s second week sales predictions have been published.
What’s she on course to sell next week?
Well, if you happen to be an avid supporter of anyone considered to be one of her rivals, we’d suggest visiting another article published on That Grape Juice.Net and leaving this one well alone.
Why?
Find out- if you’re brave enough- below…
HITS Daily Double reports:
“Beyoncé will enjoy another week atop the chart #1 with 250-275k, in which case she’ll be nearing the 900k mark RTD; with physical product not hitting stores until the end of this week, the Queen’s just getting started.”
250-275k.
If that figure feels familiar, it’s probably because it’s sales figure most (if not all) of 2013’s Pop contenders secured after months of intense promotion.
Promotion, that came armed with the benefit of #1 singles, headline grabbing Award show stints and competition fuelled discounted prices…all of which Beyonce didn’t need to move over 800,000 units worldwide in three days and a further 275,000 units in the week that followed.
It would seem, that despite their numerous efforts to outperform each other, Beyonce’s current chart sisters find themselves dwarfed by an album they weren’t even aware existed until the day of its release.
