Ciara seems more invested in her relationship and that’s fine. She seems happy with her current situation and her fans should support that. I’ve been a fan since the beginning and to be honest, Ciara has lost her drive. There are a list of things that happened to her career that led her here, esp not abandoning ship on a sound that died out, but ultimately if she’s not thirsty for it, it wont happen. Considering other urban releases this year, Ciara has had a successful era. How many urban acts have gotten any certifications lately? Csquad can be very proud of that. The reality is that R&B is dead and promo wont make much of a difference. All the promo wasted on Body Party should’ve been put on Overdose so she could’ve had a platinum hit and toured on that alone. But at the end of the day Ciara delivered a great album and the music should be all that really matters.
As a diehard Ciara stan, this is embarassing. We as fans should not be begging Ciara to release info to us about album details, single/videos, tour dates etc. This era was so embarrassing more so for Ciara than her fans tbh. She hyped this era up so much saying she was going to reconnect with her fans and she lied. She got her some d*** and said f*** yall. I bet she doesn’t care her album hasn’t even crossed the 150k after 5 months or that Overdose has yet to really chart anywhere. She had the biggest R&B song of the year by a female and almost paid it dust until the last minute. You can throw all the money in the well, if you’re not making a profit, then you’ll be in debt. I hate when people say “oh they need to promote more” when no one cares. Ciara has been everywhere, no one cares to buy her music! Look at Gaga, 25 million in promo, NO ONE CARES TO BUY HER MUSIC.
What’s best for these flops is to work on a new album and set plans. So have the single date, video date, album date, tv appearance schedule, award shows schedule in advance (6 months to a year) so the promo would be right the first time.
What was Ciara doing before on her last three albums? Throwing songs at a wall and hope that one sticks, luckily have a hit, THEN get ready for the album 6, 7, 8 12 months later.

I think it’s time to admit not everybody can be great.
That there comes a time where the promo don’t matter, the interviews don’t matter, the truth is Ciara missed her chance.
There was a time I truly think she could have been big and been the #3 female black singer, but a lot of things fell apart and in the end the tide missed her. She COULD have gotten it back but we see her? A man and a few albums sold and she’s done.
I think she should move on to a new career, because I don’t see her hunger for music and if she waits too long to transfer she’ll end up being a total hasbeen who can’t get an endorsement deal or partnership.
ciara is obviously pregnant, while I do agree she needs to get it together I like other fans went out in the rain in NY n bought her album. I am disappointed that her attitude is coming off like she doesn’t care about her fans.
I think she can still do radio n interviews but I think she is trying to avoid having a public pregnancy just yet which is understandable but she needs to secure her fans that she actually does care about them.
