Six years after premiering his first feature film ‘Off the Black’, Atlanta, Georgia born director James Ponsoldt has signed on to create ‘Rodham‘, a Hilary Clinton biopic.
With ‘Lionsgate‘ currently in talks to support the flick, the movie will tell the story of the Yale graduate’s formative years, documenting her rise to the top of the political ladder with the aid of Temple Hill‘s Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.
When it’s set for release?
That’s yet to be announced, but will arrive after Time Warner‘s CNN scrapped plans to launch a documentary telling the very same story, as ‘Deadline’ explains here.
As it stands, an actress is yet to be chosen to portray Clinton despite some reports linking Scarlett Johansson to the coveted role.
