New Song: D.Woods – ‘Last Christmas’ (Formerly Of Danity Kane)

Published: Wednesday 4th Dec 2013 by David

She may have declined the opportunity to reunite with former group Danity Kane, but that doesn’t mean the world will be missing out on new material from D.Woods this year.

For this morning, the entertainer has reignited the interest in her solo career with the release of ‘Last Christmas‘, her very own take on Wham‘s jam of the same name!

Does she have what it takes to outperform solo efforts made by Aubrey O’Day and Dawn Richard?

Dead at you putting “formerly of Danity Kane” in the tittle.
Anyway, I’ll stick to Ariana Grande

Although this version isn’t bad , it’s got a r&b vibe to it.

    Huh….these girls are determined…a mess.

Everything about this – the production, her vocals, the cover all scream LOW BUDGET!!! We know she’s independent, but if you can’t put out quality then you should have said yes to get back with DK. She looks almost unrecognizable on that cover – a MESS!

But Dawn was independent too and NEVER did she let anyone who didn’t know her find out through the quality of her music. She did what an independent artist should do aka hustle and the music was of top quality and hot! D Woods made this in her mama kitchen with her brother on his laptop using Garageband…

I agree with you @Enough – That was what I was saying – Dawn was independent and her stuff sounded creative and fresh and of a greater quality. I was just saying D Woods can’t use that as an excuse (not having the budget of an A-lister) nor can any delusional stans of hers (if those exist???) oh and D woods didn’t use GarageBand don’t play – she used her baby cousin’s karaoke machine that you put the cassette tape in and pressed record.

I want to know what these artists are hearing when they decide to release low budget trash like this (Gaga, Britney, Rita included)? Like what makes you go “this is it!! release it to the public!!” This sh*t is embarrassing to even listen to. D Woods, your career ended the day you were fired from Danity Kane, move on with the little bit of dignity you have left, since you shredded majority of it releasing flop solo music..

I think this to myself daily when I hear certain songs. I seriously wonder how it gets past so many people saying “yes… keep pushing this so the public can hear this because this is the surefire hit you need to remain relevant, sell records, and make a life for yourself!!!” But at the end of the day it is an independent artist’s duty to pick their material, so this girl obviously just doesn’t have the musicality to hang with the true artists. Bye D.Woods, check your resume for other life skills and delete a solo career from your Microsoft Word 2003 Document.

The only thing I have to say about D. Woods’ edges is that they’re “VANISHIIIIIIIIING! Drifting away…” (Mariah Carey voice).

Never claimed to be Ms. Campbell or try to steal your shine… just paying homage to the greatest… surely there is room for me here considering I am a friend, not a foe. If not, duck because a cell phone is coming your way. Love!
